Hi there! I’m Mrs. Dissinger, and I’m proud to teach Interior Design I, Interior Design II, and Fashion Design I here at Frenship High School. This is my fifth year in education, and I truly love what I do — helping students explore their creativity, build real-world skills, and discover how design impacts our everyday lives.
In my classes, you’ll find a mix of hands-on projects, creative challenges, and career-connected learning. From designing floor plans and 3D models to sewing custom garments and building professional portfolios, my goal is for every student to walk away with practical knowledge and confidence they can use beyond high school.
Outside the classroom, I’m a proud Army veteran, married to a fellow veteran, and together we’re raising a big, blended, military-strong family. We have six children and two sweet grandbabies, and our family’s service runs deep — our oldest daughter is also an Army veteran, our oldest son is currently serving in the Navy, and our son-in-law is in the Army. Needless to say, our grandbabies are true Army brats!
We have a daughter who lives in the DFW area and is thriving as a restaurant manager, and another who recently graduated high school and is currently exploring her path and discovering what’s next — each of them is pursuing their own path, and we're here for all of it!
We’ve called Lubbock home for about 14 years, and we’re proud to be part of the Frenship family — our oldest son graduated from FHS, our youngest son is currently a student here, and our youngest daughter is on her way!
