Hello! I'm Wendy Jones, and I'm absolutely thrilled to kick off my ninth year of teaching—because honestly, what could be better than spending another year shaping young minds? Every single day brings something new, and watching these kids prepare for their futures? That's what makes it all worthwhile.
Drawing on my own experiences as a Tiger and those of my three older children, proud alumni of Frenship High School, I can tell you this place has some serious magic in its halls. My husband and I are blessed (and delightfully outnumbered!) by our six amazing children and three adorable grandsons—yes, we've mastered the art of keeping life wonderfully interesting! And we're expecting our fourth grandson in December, so the adventure continues!
I earned my business degree from Wayland Baptist University, and I'm genuinely passionate about teaching business classes. This year, I'll be teaching Marketing and Money Matters—a course our young adults truly need. In Marketing, students will discover the power they hold in their purchasing decisions. Together, we'll explore how to manage money, build budgets, and understand the basics of economics. I'm also teaching Career Prep, where students gain real-world job experience to propel their education forward. I'm genuinely excited about creating a vibrant learning environment where students can thrive, grow, and—here's the fun part—actually enjoy themselves along the way!
