Stephen Rodriguez is an assistant band director and percussion coordinator for FISD. In his position he serves as the primary instructor for percussion in all middle schools, high school, and assists the band programs in any role necessary. He is from Post, Tx and graduated with a bachelor's in music education from Lubbock Christian University. He also has a master's in percussion performance from the University of Wyoming. Stephen continues to teach privately as well and maintains lesson students from around the area and other parts of the state.
