My name is Grant Cox, and I am one of the agricultural science teachers. I am extremely excited to work with students here at FHS!

I am originally from Joshua, TX and graduated from Joshua High School. I have been around agriculture for as long as I can remember, but I truly became involved my freshman year of high school. My FFA career was filled with showing cattle, sheep, and goats, participating on numerous state-qualifying LDE teams and CDE teams, FFA Officer roles, and so much more. One of my biggest passions that I developed through high school FFA is evaluating livestock. After high school, I attended Clarendon College to compete on the livestock judging team and complete my associate's degree. I then transferred into Texas Tech University where I continued to judge livestock and earned my Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Education in May of 2024.

Fast forward to now and I am very excited to get to teach kiddos about the things I love the most. This will be my first year in education and teaching high school agriculture. I look forward to an amazing year and hope to leave a positive influence on each student to come through the ag department!
