Biography:
2025-2026 will be my 21st year teaching.  I have taught in New Mexico (AP Calculus) and Lubbock. Between schools in Lubbock, I began graduate work at Texas Tech University's National Wind Institute earning my Ph.D. in Wind Science & Engineering.  After completion, I worked at an electrical engineering firm for a few years before going back to Texas Tech where I taught in their "BS in Renewable Energy" program. I left education for a few years working with a renewable energy company developing projects across the U.S. I was a part of the Tahoka wind energy project and developed a project in Lane City, Texas.

I live in the Lubbock area with my wife, Shelly.  We have been married 29 years and have two boys, Brayden 27 (engineer in Amarillo) and Jarred 24 (applying to vet school).
