I am originally from Amarillo, Texas, where I completed my K–12 education. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Texas Tech University. I have been teaching for three years and truly enjoy helping students explore and appreciate the world of science.

I come from a large family of six children and value the importance of family and community. Outside the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my loved ones, catching up with friends, maintaining my lawn, and—of course—sharing or receiving a good science "dad joke" whenever I can!
