Welcome to my page! This is my seventh year teaching English. I graduated from UT Austin and began my educational career at Rice High School where I taught 9th and 12th grade English. When I moved to Lubbock, I was blessed to join Frenship Middle School for four years teaching 8th grade English. I am happy to be teaching 9th grade English again. I have a great love for literature, language, and communication. Literature opens our eyes to new perspectives and provides us with opportunities to learn more about the world around us as well as ourselves. Here's to a great year!
