I am excited to begin my first year at Frenship High School and my 15th year in education. This year, I will be coaching Boys Basketball and Girls Track while teaching World History, World Religions, and Dual-Credit Government.

I am originally from Dumas, Texas, where I graduated from Texas Tech University and was blessed with my first opportunity to teach and coach. During my eight years in Dumas, I coached a variety of sports, including two years of wrestling, three years of boys basketball, and three years as the head girls basketball coach.

After my time in Dumas, my family and I moved to the Lubbock area, where I joined Lubbock-Cooper as an assistant girls basketball coach. I spent four years at Lubbock-Cooper before accepting the head girls basketball coaching position at New Home, where I spent the past two years leading the program.

Me and my wife, Candice, have been married for 13 years and have two children: a 6-year-old boy and a 9-year-old girl. I am thrilled to be a part of the Frenship family and look forward to investing in students both inside and outside the classroom. My passion is helping young people grow academically, athletically, and personally, and I am excited to build meaningful relationships with students, parents, staff, and the Frenship community.
