James Holloway is an instructor at Frenship High School in Wolfforth, Texas.
He received his M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction at Texas Tech University with a minor in Physics. He has presented workshops at a district, state, and national level at workshops and conferences.
He was honored by receiving the “Excellence in Teacher Mentoring” award from the Cynthia and George Mitchell Foundation at the 21st TRC in Austin. He has also been honored by receiving the PTA Teacher of the Year at Frenship High School. He was also Frenship's Distinguished Educator and was honored this year by receiving the Lubbock Christian University's Distinguished Educator Award in April. Mr. Holloway is passionate about science and technology, and his goal is to eliminate the fears of many teachers as they introduce technology into their classrooms.
Mr.Holloway has been an educator for 19 years and has been actively involved in FIRST Robotics for 15 years. Coach Holloway established “Fe” Iron Tigers #5866 in 2016. He currently resides in Lubbock with his wife Christi and their son Riley. He can be contacted at [email protected].
