The Automotive Quiz Bowl team of Nate Groce, Aaron McGee, Zeke Medrano, Rowdy Dubose, Chris Keck, Trevor Fleming, and Lucas Murphy took home the gold after a capturing the win over two tough Lubbock ISD teams.
In the Criminal Justice division including Traffic Stop, Finger Print, Test, Interview, Communications, and Report Writing, Abigail Ponce took first place and will advanced to state. Frenship's Matthew Melendrez also took the second place spot.
In the Criminal Justice Quiz Bowl (Criminal Justice/Real World quiz) Ashley Osborne, Caden Newman, Cristian Garrison, Joseph Mcdonald, Jarra Lawrence earned the first place spot and a place at the state competition.
The Frenship Crime Scene Investigation team with Ashley Osborne, Tucker (Shae) McNeal, and Hailee Garza are also headed to state after landing first place.
Due to the competitions, Ashley Osborne also received a $500 scholarship to South Plains College.

CONSTRUCTION TRADES:
Three FHS students will be headed to the SkillsUSA state competition for the construction trades.
Colton Dabbert brought home the first place title in carpentry. Jerome Blankston earned first place in masonry while Nathan Powers followed close behind with second.
AV PRODUCTION/ MEDIA:
Out of a dozen Frenship students who competed in the media divisions, two will advance to the state competition.
Jacob Filgo and Nathan Charles, both FHS juniors, will compete in digital cinema at SkillsUSA.
