The Frenship Tigers hosted Midland Legacy on October 7 and put on an offensive show against the Rebels. The Tigers got off to a hot and fast start, leading 42-7 at the half. While the Rebels made an attempt to come back, putting up 21 points in the third quarter, the deficit was too much for them to overcome and the Tigers won 49-34.
The defense also made a huge impact, stopping the Rebels on two fourth down conversion attempts late in the fourth quarter to maintain the Frenship lead.
Hudson Hutcheson threw for six touchdowns in the first half, which tied a school record, and rushed for 36 yards and one touchdown.
Landon Hutcheson had 144 receiving yards, Tate Beeles had 14, Leyton Stone had 123, and Brooks Roberson had 69 yards.
The Tigers will look to keep their winning streak alive, taking on the Midland High Bulldogs on October 14 at Grande Communications Stadium.
