Twelve Lady Tiger Powerlifters have earned an opportunity to compete at the Regional Powerlifting Meet at the Ward County Event Center in Monahans. To qualify, each powerlifter placed in the top twelve in their respective weight classes for class 6A. Congratulations to Miriam Mendoza, Myka Hurtado, Amber Pollard, Nalysa Vega, Claire McDonald, Macy Olmos, Gabriela Hernandez, Morgan Neal, Abagail Rodriguez, Kaileah Renouf, Lilana Sanchez, and Jocelyn Hinojosa.

Head Powerlifting Coach Dusty Robinson shared, "[I am] so proud of these young ladies, they have come so far from the first day of practice. They have learned to push themselves beyond limits they never imagined possible."

With only two returners from last year's squad, Coach Robinson was impressed to see this number of young ladies qualify for regionals, and he is for what the future holds for the Lady Tiger Powerlifting program. 

The Tigers will compete at the Regional Powerlifting meet next Friday, March 3rd in Monahans, Texas.
