Unified Track Win Back-to-Back Meets

On Tuesday, March 7th, the FHS Unified Track and Field team competed in the second and final local meet of the year at Lubbock-Cooper. With 127 points, Frenship took home gold and was named the overall Unified Meet Champion. The Tigers will advance to the Area Meet on March 28th hosted at Lubbock-Cooper.

In the individual events, the Tigers won first place in shot put, long jump, the 400, and the Boys 4x1.

400 Meters:

  • Daniel and Gabriel Vargas – 1st and 2nd overall
  • Cade Franklin- 2nd

100 Meters:

  • Damien Rodriguez- 1st
  • Jeremiah Johnson- 2nd
  • Armani Gacanica- 4th

Girls 4x1:

  • Jalyia Johnson, Alayna Bayouth, Fatima Rossillo and Drea Laughin- 2nd
  • Cherokee Allen, Boston Morin, Danae Medley and Taylor Wilson- 3rd 

Boys 4x1:

  • Jeremiah Johnson, Trey Lorimer, Damien Hernandez, and Cooper Scott- 1st, Setting a meet record for 48.1
  • Christina Ray Manley, Jimmy Gonzales, Holden Phillips and Armani Gacanica- 2nd
