Frenship vs San Angelo Central (April 21st)

The Tigers capped off another great district season with their second straight shutout. The Tigers put up a total of 13 runs in the district finale against the San Angelo Central Bobcats.

Six of those runs came in the third inning thanks to big hits from Alex Rangel, Ami Perez, MK Garcia, and Emma Peeples. It was a busy day at the plate for many of the Tigers with Brooklyn Esqueda, Jillian Franco, Alex Rangel, and Ami Perez all having multiple hits on the night.

Alexis Clark had yet another demanding night in the circle. The flamethrower went four innings allowing only two hits. Freshman Melody Martinez came in to close out the game in the 5th inning, throwing only four pitches to record the last three outs.

With the 13-0 win the Tigers closed out district play as District Champions for the second year in a row.
