Frenship Track and Field Takes Home Team Championship at Pirate Relays

The Tigers mean business on the track and field. For the fourth meet in a row, the Frenship Tigers have been named Team Champions across all four divisions: Girls Varsity, Girls JV, Boys Varsity, and Boys JV.  

The Varsity Boys came in 1st place seven times, 2nd place eight times, and 3rd place four times. The team score for Varsity Boys came out to 197, just one point lead over Lubbock-Cooper High School for an exciting finish. The final JV team score totaled 197.50 points.  

The Varsity Girls came in 1st place four times, 2nd place seven times, and 3rd place seven times. The team score for Varsity Girls came out to 199.50, which was 86 points higher than the second-place team. The JV Girls team score totaled 257 points, surpassing second place by 134 points.

Up next for the Track and Field athletes is the San Angelo Relays on March 22 – 23 in San Angelo. The JV teams will be competing in the Levelland Lobo relays on the same dates.
