Boys Powerlifting Breaks School Record at State Competition

The Tiger Powerlifting Team is stronger than steel! These athletes continue to raise the bar for Frenship with record-breaking strength. Frenship High School Powerlifters, Reynaldo Loredo, Michael Garza, and Jack Pollard competed at the Boys State Powerlifting Competition in Abilene last Saturday, March 23.

Reynaldo Loredo finished in 9th place out of 42 lifters. Michael Garza finished in 12th place out of 46 lifters. Jack Pollard finished in 24th place out of 54 lifters.

Head Powerlifting Coach, Dusty Robinson, is proud of the athlete's effort and performance at state. He feels especially proud of the record broken by Reynaldo Loredo.

“Reynaldo is the highest placing individuals our school has ever had at the State Powerlifting meet. All three individuals set new PR's in all three lifts,” said Coach Robinson.

Amazing work, Tiger Powerlifters! We are proud of you!
