Daryl is currently serving as Frenship High School’s FCCLA Chapter President and is in his fourth year as a member of the organization. During his time in FCCLA, he has competed each year, qualified for the State Conference three consecutive years, and advanced to the National level once.
To be considered as an Officer Candidate, Daryl first met eligibility requirements, including prior officer experience, strong academic standing, and submission of an official application complete with a resume and leadership documentation. At the Regional Conference, he successfully completed the FCCLA officer selection process, which included a comprehensive knowledge test, prepared speech, fact and thought question, and interview.
After advancing through voting delegate selection, he was officially placed into the role of Vice President of Records. Judges specifically noted his articulate and confident speaking skills, particularly during the Officer Candidate Meet and Greet.
As Vice President of Records, Daryl will represent Region 1 and Frenship High School at the FCCLA State Conference and other leadership events throughout the remainder of this school year and into the next.
Trisha Dissinger is the FCCLA Advisor at FHS. She is also Daryl's mom.
“It’s been rewarding to see his growth over the years, and I’m very proud - both as his advisor and as his parent,” Trisha said. "Daryl’s achievement reflects not only his personal commitment to excellence, but also the strong leadership culture within Frenship’s FCCLA program."
Congratulations, Daryl! Your leadership makes a big impact on Frenship ISD.
