Several Frenship ISD Students Excel at UIL District Meet and Advance to Regionals

The Academic UIL competition is one of the most comprehensive academic programs in the nation, challenging students to expand their knowledge, sharpen critical thinking skills, and demonstrate excellence across a wide range of subjects. From writing and speaking events to mathematics, science, and journalism, students dedicate months of preparation to compete at a high level.

This year, both Frenship High School and Frenship Memorial High School brought strong teams to the District Academic UIL Meet, with students preparing since the fall through consistent practices and multiple invitational competitions.

At the district meet, Frenship High School earned the Overall School Sweepstakes Runner-up title, along with top finishes in Journalism and Accounting. The Tigers also had numerous individual standouts, with several students earning first-place finishes and advancing to the regional competition.

Frenship Memorial High School also delivered an impressive performance, highlighted by first-place team finishes in Mathematics and Science, along with multiple individual champions.
