The Frenship Tiger Band performed “This Way” under the direction of Band Director Scott Carter and earned straight Superior ratings from all three judges. The Memorial Panther Band, directed by Band Director Michelle Lessing, presented “NOCTURNE: Finding Light in the Dark” and also earned Superior ratings. 

Both bands will advance to the UIL 5A Area A Marching Contest on Saturday, October 24, at Astound Broadband Stadium in Midland, where they will compete for an opportunity to continue their marching season.
