Once again, students in the Frenship High School construction program used the skills they’ve learned in class to build a custom playhouse to be raffled off as a part of the annual Casas for CASA fundraiser. Tickets are available for purchase until May 14th at 4:30p.m.

Last weekend, 16 Frenship High School students competed in the TexSEF State Esports Competition held in San Antonio at Fiesta Texas. With over 700 students from across the state competing, a handful of Frenship students placed in the top rankings.

On Tuesday, Frenship ISD hosted its 23rd annual Staff Appreciation Banquet to honor the district’s retirees, service pins awards of 20 years and up, and the campus support professionals of the year, rookie teachers of the year, and teachers of the year.

In a tradition dating back to the 1860s, the Frenship High School Health Science students celebrate earning industry certifications with a pinning ceremony.

Last week the Tigers proved that they deserve a spot in the Area Playoffs. After a sweet Bi-District victory over El Paso Montwood, the team takes their talents to the Area Playoffs beginning this evening.

The Frenship High School Tennis Team recently had an impressive show out at the District Tournament. The Boys won the Team Championship, and the Girls' Team came in as the runner up in team points. The Tigers are currently competing in the Regional Quarterfinals at the Courts of McKinney.

Last week, the Tigers competed in the Area Playoffs against the Timber Creek Falcons. After two days of battling it out on the mound, the Tigers fell short in the final round. Assistant Softball Coach Anna Williams states that although the season is over, she has seen major improvement and growth among the players.

Frenship High School Senior Peyton McCloud is a recipient of the Army National Scholarship from the Texas Tech Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) for more than $67,000. Peyton says that he is thankful to receive this highly competitive scholarship.

These Frenship High School students are typically behind the scenes, but now they'll take center stage as they advance to the State UIL Theatrical Design Contest later this month to show off their design skills for the set, makeup, costumes, and marketing plans.

Last weekend, 11 Frenship art students competed in the State Visual Art Scholastic Event (VASE) in San Marcos, with seven Frenship students' artworks receiving a Rating IV - Exemplary and a state medal.
