Earlier this month, three Frenship High School choir students advanced to the final round of the South Plains Songwriting Competition. At the end of the night, Jarrett Wideman, a junior, earned third place in the high school category.

On Tuesday, April 23rd, more than a hundred local businesses and community partners attended the annual Frenship ISD Business Partners Luncheon where guests got an inside look at Frenship’s growth and updates on new campuses.

Frenship ISD is excited to welcome home Eric Eugenis as the new Terra Vista Middle School Principal starting the 2024-2025 school year. Eugenis is no stranger to Frenship as he previously served the district for 12 years, including Assistant Principal of Terra Vista Middle School from 2018-2022.

After last night’s game against the San Angelo Central Bobcats, the Frenship Tigers are the District 2-6A champions! The team will continue to compete in the San Angelo Central Series and is looking forward to securing more wins on the pitching front.

The Frenship Girls Golf Team finished their season last week at the 6A Regional Tournament. Although the Tigers are not advancing to State, Coach Whipkey could not be more proud of the girls.

The Frenship High School Softball Team brought home the gold in the District 2-6A competition. The Tigers are advancing to the first round of playoffs this Friday, April 26.

This past week at the South Plains Chapter of the American Chemical Society annual banquet, Frenship High School senior Thomas Wylie was announced as a National Finalist for the National Chemistry Olympiad. Additionally, Nancy Schunke was named the society’s Chemistry Teacher of the Year.

Last weekend, three Frenship High School FCCLA students competed at the State Competition held in Dallas, Texas.

With another championship title under their belt, the Frenship High School One Act Play team rides their momentum as they head to the Regional Competition.

Frenship ISD is proud to announce that Terra Vista Middle School Head Band Director Roel Sanchez has been awarded the Lubbock Christian University Award for Excellence in Teaching.
