Today, Frenship Alum, Jacob Piel visited his old stomping grounds at Frenship Middle School to speak to the College & Career Readiness class. Piel shared insightful advice on a career in law enforcement.

The Frenship High School Theatre brought down the house with four unforgettable performances of Footloose. This production also marked the debut of Tre John as the new Theatre Director, kicking off his first major show with a bang.

This week fifth-graders at Bennett Elementary had an exciting day filled with music discovery. The students took a field trip to Frenship Middle School to hear the band and choir. When they returned to campus, the Frenship High School Orchestra visited and performed holiday themed songs.

Last weekend, Frenship FFA members achieved outstanding results at the Texas State FFA Leadership Development Events Competition. Bliss Bessire earned the title of State Runner-Up in Job Interview, while Mallory Meadows secured 6th place in Greenhand Creed Speaking.

Frenship High School seniors Alison Abston and Kamryn Fortner will have the honor of cheering alongside the nation’s top cheerleaders in the U.S. Army Bowl on December 21st at the home of the Dallas Cowboys in Frisco, Texas.

The Frenship High School Football Team recently wrapped up their season. Coach Jay Northcutt is proud of the Tigers and the numerous records set.

Across the district, various Frenship schools organized canned food drives to combat food insecurity within the community. Through these efforts, students exemplify the Frenship Way by showcasing leadership and a commitment to service within their schools and the community.

This month’s theme for Mental Health Minute is Generosity. As a component of the 2021 Strategic Plan Initiative, the goal of the Mental Health Minute is to spread awareness of mental health across Frenship ISD.

Today, Frenship’s Wide Receiver, Leyton Stone signed to continue his football career at Texas Tech University. Stone will be graduating from Frenship High School this December to join the Red Raiders in the spring.

The Frenship Boys Golf Team recently concluded their fall season, finishing strong and laying the groundwork for a competitive spring. The team’s hard work and determination were evident as they progressed with each tournament.
