Ship Hoops are back, and the boys have been dishing out wins. The Tigers recently brought home the dub at the Hoops Extravaganza against Killeen Shoemaker, 90-62 and at home against Palo Duro High School 85-72.

Last night, the Frenship Tigers wrapped up a memorable Football season against Southlake Carroll in the Area playoffs. Looking back on the season, the Bi-District Champs showed growth and determination amongst all players. The season was also marked by players breaking dozens of school records.

The Tigers Girls Basketball team has found their rhythm. Recently, the girls walked away with two exceptional wins against Randall High School, 81-64 and Seminole High School, 75-57.

The Frenship Tiger Wrestling team is off to a strong start this season. After their first tournament, a total of 9 athletes placed at the meet. The team is looking forward to a successful season.

The Frenship Girls Golf Team placed 2nd and 5th in the Odessa Invitational last week. Even in cold weather, the girls managed to stay focused and zeroed in on the prize.

The Frenship Boys Golf team wrapped up their season on a terrific note this week. The Gold Golf team competed at the Gobbler Classic Invitational where they brought home the first-place title. Head Coach Andy Correll is pleased with the diligent work of the athletes this season.

In honor of National Substitute Appreciation Day on November 17, Frenship ISD is taking a moment to show appreciation and gratitude for all district-wide substitute teachers. We spoke with David Doyle, a dedicated Frenship Substitute about his passion for education.

Last week, Dr. McCord’s Student Advisory Board got to work creating blankets for patients in the Cancer Center at Lubbock's University Medical Center.

This month, the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce and Young Professionals of Lubbock announced their Top 20 Under 40 Award recipients. Of the 20 selected across the entire Lubbock community, Frenship had two leaders receive the prestigious leadership and service award.

The Tiger Girls Basketball team started their season fast and furious last weekend at the Argyle Tip Off Classic. The Tigers beat both #3 Winnsboro and #23 Garland Sachse.
