Ms. Aberdeen Freo

My name is Abby Freo and I'm originally from Lubbock, TX. I graduated from Lubbock Cooper High School and went on to graduate from Texas Tech University with a B.A. in Chemistry and a minor in Biology. Afterward, I taught Chemistry and Biology in the Plano ISD district for 3.5 years before moving to a Coastal City in California for about 4 years. I could not pass up the opportunity to stay home with my boys, but eventually I left scenic California and returned to Texas to continue my career in education. I found a home with Frenship ISD and I'm incredibly blessed to begin my third year at the High School as a Chemistry teacher. Some of my favorite things to do is crafting and traveling. I love learning about each visiting city's history and traditions. On a personal note, being an educator is tremendously rewarding. Watching these young men and women become leaders, develop communication skills, independence, cooperative skills, and an overall sense of gratitude is what makes it all worth every minute of late night planning!
