Ms. Aberdeen Freo

My name is Abby Freo and I'm from Lubbock, TX. I graduated from Lubbock Cooper High School then later graduated from Texas Tech University with a B.A. in Chemistry and a minor in Biology. Afterward, I taught Chemistry and Biology in the Plano ISD district for 3.5 years before moving to a Coastal City in California for about 4 years. I could not pass up the opportunity to stay home with my boys, but eventually, I left scenic California and returned to Texas to continue my career in education. I found a home with Frenship ISD and am incredibly blessed to begin my sixth-year teaching Chemistry at Frenship High School. Some of my favorite things to do are crafting and traveling. I love learning about each city's history and traditions. On a personal note, being an educator is tremendously rewarding. Watching these young men and women become leaders, develop communication skills, independence, engage in collaboration, and gain an overall sense of gratitude is what makes it all worth every minute. I am also the Chess Club sponsor, so if you would like to learn some strategies or simply play a game, Chess Club meets every Wednesday after school in my room.
