I grew up in San Antonio, and graduated from Churchill High School in 1994. In high school I competed on the swim team, played trumpet in the marching band, and earned the rank of Eagle Scout.

 

I went on to earn an English degree from Texas Tech University, where I minored in Communications and Architecture, and also met my wife!

 

I am married to Mikki, my college sweetheart, who has worked at Texas Tech since we were students there. I have two step-daughters: Brooke, who is a student at West Texas A&M and loves horses, and Kendall, who is a freshman at Kingdom Prep Academy and plays basketball and volleyball.

 

This is my tenth year in education and seventh year as a Frenship Tiger.
