FOR ALL ESL HOUSEHOLDS:  
 
ESL is a course for students who are learning English as a second language.  Our classes include students from all over the world.  Our goal is to help our students be proficient in English while maintaining their first language too.

ELP/WRITING:  I'll edit my writing to fix my grammar, punctuation, capitalization and spelling.
I will incorporate direct and indirect commands and instructions to practice my grammar, etc.
 
ELP/SPEAKING:  I'll use lots of common words when I speak so that I can describe things, retell stories, sum up information, and communicate in class.
1.  Writing Assignment:  Write a 1/2 page about your upcoming Christmas plans.  What do you want for Christmas and tell us why?  Be prepared for peer editing and to read aloud.
20-25 minutes
2.  Go to book U4 L 8:  Indirect Verbs--Introduce with NOTES on board.  
3.  Do game--students turn direct into indirect and visa versa
4.  Complete page 80 and 81.
5.  Next time--complete L9 and begin

7.  Do listening and reading exercises.
