Tiger Boys Basketball Set for Home Opener

While the girls side of Tiger Basketball was unable to travel to Amarillo High on Tuesday, November 17, the boys did make the trip up I-27 to face an equally tough Sandies squad. The game was close throughout but with a big fourth quarter push by the Sandies, Frenship was unable to pull out the victory falling 78-57.

Tiger Girls Basketball Battles to a Strong Start

It’s an ongoing understatement to say 2020 has been a year wrought with challenges, and the Frenship Girls Basketball Team has not been immune even early in the season. In the past week, both of Frenship’s previously scheduled opponents (Amarillo High and Lubbock Coronado) have been forced to cancel games due to COVID-19 cases on their respective teams.

#8 Tiger Volleyball Storms into Playoffs

Frenship Volleyball (18-1) wrapped up their regular season on the road against Abilene High Friday, November 13, sealing an undefeated District 2-6A campaign with a 25-15, 25-12, 25-18 sweep. With the victory, Frenship extended their winning streak to 14 matches and garnered their twelfth sweep of the season, 9 of which have come in district play.

Tiger Football Looks Ahead to Unique 2020 Senior Night

In most years, “practicing on Thanksgiving” means you’ve made a deep run into the UIL State Playoffs and have a Friday playoff matchup at a neutral site. But 2020 is not most years. Class 5A and 6A teams across Texas have regularly scheduled games the day after Thanksgiving this season and that’s also true of the Frenship Tigers (2-6, 1-4) who will face off with the Odessa High Bronchos at Peoples Bank Stadium, their final matchup of the 2020 season.

Frenship Football Looks to Own Their Destiny in Abilene

It hasn’t been the season Head Coach Jay Northcutt and his staff envisioned as COVID-19 and injuries have provided the Tigers more than their share of challenges to overcome. Frenship (2-5, 1-4) fell Friday, November 6 to the Midland Lee Rebels 50-21 at People’s Bank Stadium.
