Frenship ISD is excited to announce Brandon Roberson as the new head baseball coach for Frenship Memorial High School.

This month’s theme for Mental Health Minute is Mindfulness. As a component of the 2021 Strategic Plan Initiative, the goal of the Mental Health Minute is to spread awareness of mental health across Frenship ISD.

Six Frenship ISD campuses participated in the H-E-B School Plastic Bag Recycling Challenge, collecting over 42,000 plastic bags that would have otherwise ended up in landfills. The district’s efforts helped promote sustainability and raise awareness about the importance of reducing single-use plastic waste.

On April 10, Frenship ISD recognized several head and lead staff members for Fine Arts, Ag, and Athletics who are joining the Frenship Memorial High School Panther family.

Last weekend, dozens of Frenship High School students had a strong showing at the SkillsUSA State Conference, bringing home several medals and awards. Two students are now headed to Nationals after dominating their events in photography and automotive technology.

The Frenship High School Theatre is owning the stage this One Act Play season. With another champion title under their belt, the Frenship team is taking center stage as they head to the Area One Act Play Competition next week in Abilene.

Earlier this week, the Frenship High School and Ninth Grade Center Student Council groups attended the Texas Association of Student Councils. The students partnered with peers from other districts and developed valuable leadership experience.

Last week, the Frenship Ninth Grade Center wrapped up its annual Children’s Miracle Network fundraiser with an exciting campus event. The Student Council and Chick-fil-A Leadership Academy joined forces to maximize their impact.

Frenship High School senior Isabelle Verastegui has earned a prestigious National Silver Key from the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards for her visual art piece, “Elegance with Motion.” This award places her among some of the most celebrated artists in the nation.
