Expectations:

This is an EOC-tested subject, and much work is needed to prepare you for the test. The Test will be earlier than normal this year and time is short to get everything taught. We will have a grade every day and you must be here to pass the test. There will be some form of test prep dailyWe cannot waste time and there must be a sense of urgency.  There will never be a free day. You will have to do some things on your time, so try not to make it a lot.

Basic Rules-                 To meet expectations the following rules must be followed.

  • Be prepared and bring all class materials with you every day. I will not provide for you. Bring to class everyday pens, paper, folders, and handouts that I give you.
  • Turn your work in on time. Lost handouts are not free.
  • Be polite, patient, and respectful to yourself and others always.
  • Be on task and pay attention, follow directions, and ask questions.
  • To keep the class flowing at a rapid pace I will have to control the lines of communication in class so that we can hear what is being said by me and others in an orderly manner by raising your hand.
  • All school rules will apply: No cell phones, headphones/earbuds, food or drink, hoods off your head, be in dress code. Do not allow rest room trips to be come and issue Do not put your head on your desk.
  • If there is anything that I can help you with don’t hesitate to ask.

  • Students can request a redo/retest after being notified of grade but will have to do remediation / reteaching and completed in a reasonable amount time after being notified. The student is responsible for making the request by the next class. Any repeat pattern of abuse of policy may include intervention and/or consequences.
  • Any questions on grading policy check Frenship Student Handbook.

Make-up & Late Work-

  • For every school day absent, the student has two class days for completion of missed assignments. Work assigned before absence is due on the day of returnStudents in school sponsored activities should gather assignments prior to the activity. Absences policy applies to those students as well.
