Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year!   My name is Delia McDaniel, and I am teaching Culinary Arts-I and Dual Language Child Development at Frenship High School this year.  I am going into my second year at Frenship High School, and I am in my starting my 10th year as an FCS Teacher.  I am a graduate of Texas Tech University College of Human Sciences. I have 19 years of additional teaching experience working as an Agri-life Extension Home Economist and 4-H Agent for Texas A& M University,
I grew up in Tahoka, Texas and upon graduation from Texas Tech moved out of the West Texas area where life after college began for me.  I never anticipated moving back to West Texas, but here I am. I just couldn't get enough of the blowing dust!!!
I am married to the most "interesting" man in the world.  We never have a dull moment with him.    Mr. McDaniel is a first responder and Navy Veteran.  I have two children, Carrie-Rose who is a UNT graduate and Steven-Peter who is a Sophomore at Texas Tech University.
In my spare time, (ha-ha) I enjoy riding horses, heading out to Lost Maples to camp or the Frio to Kayak with the family.  My favorite drink is Abuelita's Chocolate and home brewed/old fashioned tea.  My favorite food is Thai, Oriental or Indian. My favorite Netflix show is "Sweet Magnolias" and favorite Disney show is... wait for it... "Ratatouille."
I want you as parents and students to know that I believe in what I do, and I am happiest doing what I love doing...teaching young people.
