Welcome to the Frenship ISD Orchestra Program! We are excited to welcome returning experienced string players as well as students who are discovering the world of string music for the first time.

Our orchestra program is built around more than learning to play an instrument. We believe that music provides opportunities for students to grow, connect, create, collaborate, and achieve. Through rehearsals, performances, and shared experiences, we strive to create ensembles where every musician can develop their skills while becoming a valued member of the orchestra community.

For our experienced string players, we look forward to building upon the skills you have already developed and challenging you to grow as musicians, performers, and leaders. Together, we will continue to develop the vision and tradition of excellence within the Frenship Orchestras.

For those who are new to string instruments, welcome! You are beginning an exciting journey, and there is so much to discover. Whether you choose violin, viola, cello, or string bass, you will become part of a musical community where you can learn, explore, and make music alongside others.

I am honored to be part of the Frenship ISD Fine Arts community and look forward to sharing in the many musical experiences ahead. Here’s to a year filled with discovery, connection, growth, and unforgettable music-making!
