Global Surface Temperature Records posted by NASA - If you will scroll to the bottom of the page, there is a globe with red dots on it for every purported weather station for which data is presented.  You can click and drag the globe to rotate it.  You can also click on any red dot to bring up the station information.  Then you can select "Generate plot" for the data presented. Please note that the data presented by this site has been "adjusted" and "homogenized."  However, as of 8/15/22, you can still click on the legend of the average annual temperature data chart and select to see the trace of the unadjusted data. Just for kicks and grins, you might checkout the unadjusted versus the "homogenized" data plots of the longest temperature records for the following towns around Lubbock: Crosbyton, Muleshoe, Lamesa, Plainview, Levelland, Seminole, and/or Tahoka.
