Service Projects
Students learn how to use their leadership skills to serve their community and how to transfer those servant leadership skills to the workplace. Each year, Frenship FCCLA members strive to make a difference in the community by volunteering and participating in service projects. These service projects vary each year and impact communities within the Lubbock and Wolfforth areas. Past projects have included:
- Making a meal for families staying at the Ronald McDonald House
- Collecting stocking stuffers for students in the Mentor program
- Collecting brown grocery bags to be decorated for the South Plains Food Bank
Fundraisers
Students also participate in an annual fundraiser to help pay for club activities throughout the year. Students participating in the competitions may do additional fundraisers to help pay for competition fees, supplies, registration and other costs associated with the competitions.
