Senior Schedule of Events
Friday, May 10 Mandatory Senior Roll Call
8:50 a.m. in the Performing Arts Center (PAC)
After Roll Call, seniors who have paid ALL fines AND are caught
up AND passing all classes may leave for the rest of the day!
Students completing EDS days for attendance credit (your
principal will have spoken to you), must complete EDS before
May 10 to leave school after Roll Call.
Wednesday, May 15 Admissions Accomplished Pep Rally
9 a.m. in the Tiger Pit. Parents invited.
Seniors will be asked to complete a questionnaire before
the Admissions Accomplished Pep Rally. The questionnaire
includes information for the Pep Rally and graduation program
about scholarships and school choices. Use QR Code at bottom

Wednesday, May 22 Senior Sunset
Seniors and their families are invited to watch one last sunset
together as a class at Peoples Bank Stadium, More information
regarding the time and activities will be released in May.
Thursday, May 23 Mandatory Graduation Practice
8:30 a.m. at United Supermarkets Arena
You must wear the entire outfit (including shoes) you will
wear at graduation and be dress-code compliant. Please bring
your cap and gown to practice. If you have not ordered a cap
and gown, you may purchase one from Balfour at 4620 34th
St. in Lubbock for $54.12 (including tax). Balfour is open
Monday through Friday, noon to 5 p.m. 806-795-0525.
Thursday, May 23 Graduation, 7 p.m., United Supermarkets Arena
Please arrive at 5:30 p.m. Park in the North Lot to avoid
parking tickets during graduation practice or graduation. The
doors for parents will open at 6 p.m.
Thursday, May 23 Project Graduation at the Tech Rec Center
11 p.m. — 4 a.m. Cost is $5 per student, and tickets will go on
sale at FHS in May. Must be present to win prizes!
Graduation Attire Gentlemen
Long sleeve white dress shirt
Dark dress pants or khakis
Long tie that blends with robe
Dress shoes and socks or dress
boots (not work boots)
School dress code hair
No facial hair
No earrings, no gaudy jewelry
Attire suitable for graduation
Dress pants/dress Capri pants are acceptable
Dress shoes with low or flat heels (Tech will not
permit high/spiked heels on the floor.) Wedge shoes
are fine. Shoes must blend with blue graduation
robe. NO flip flops.
No corsages, no gaudy jewelry
No exotic hair color
National Honor Society members in good standing may wear the NHS emblem stole. Stoles
can be purchased from NHS sponsors for $20.
