Dual Credit

DUAL CREDIT PARENT MEETINGS
Dual credit courses are offered at Frenship High School through Angelo State University and allow students the opportunity to earn college credit while taking high school courses and college courses simultaneously.

On Monday, January 13th and Tuesday, January 21st meetings were held for all students and parents NEW to dual credit for the 2025-2026 school year. If you were unable to attend one of those meetings, the following information was presented and would be beneficial to students and parents.

Angelo State University Announces Participation in the FAST Program

In August of 2023, Angelo State University announced they would be participating in the FAST (Financial Aid for Swift Transfer) program.  The FAST program allows qualifying students at public high schools to take dual credit courses at no cost (this includes tuition, course fees, and textbooks).

If you have any questions about this new program and what it means for your student, please contact the FHS counselors or Nicholas Copeland, Coordinator of Advanced Academics. ([email protected])
